Tropical Gardens.
These types of gardens emulate the natural tropical feel of the equatorial jungles.
The overall theme is one of lushness and fullness. The types of plants used to create this effect include various palms, tree ferns and cycas’s. These plants are complimented by different big leafed plant varieties such as the elephants ears and philodendrons.

A typical tropical water feature
The use of very bright, eye-catching colour is often incorporated and these plants would include hibiscus (providing a Hawaiian touch), fuchsias, clivias and impatiens. Arum lilies are also often used. The tropical garden would not be complete without some form of water present, be it a still rock-pool of a cascading water fall.
